What is xpm.exe?
xpm.exe is a legitimate file. This process is known as GNU Image Manipulation Program Plug-In. It belongs to GNU Image Manipulation Program and was developed by Spencer Kimball, Peter Mattis and the GIMP Development Team. It is commonly stored in C:\Program Files.
Malware programmers or cybercriminals write different types of malicious programs and name them as xpm.exe to spread virus.

How to check if your computer is infected with xpm.exe malware?

- Go to Task Manager by pressing the combination of keys ctrl+alt+del
