What is swsoc.exe?

Originally developed by StaDirect Technologies, swsoc.exe is a legitimate file process. This process is known as SataDirect SequeLink Server for ODBC Socket and it belongs to DataDirect SequeLink. It is located in C:\Program Files by default.

swsoc.exe virus is created when malware authors write virus files and name them after swsoc.exe with an aim to spread virus on the internet.
