What is skypePM.exe?

Originally developed by Skype Technologies, skypePM.exe is a legitimate file process also known as Skype Extras Manager that is associated with Skype Messenger.  It is located in C:\Program Files by default.

skypePM.exe virus is created when malware authors write virus files and name them after skypePM.exe with an aim to spread virus on the internet.
