What is shtml.exe?
shtml.exe is a legitimate file. This process is known as Microsoft FrontPage Server Extensions. It belongs to Microsoft FrontPage and was developed by Microsoft Corporation. It is commonly stored in C:\Windows\System32. Malware programmers or cybercriminals write different types of malicious programs and name them as shtml.exe to spread virus.
