service.exe is a legitimate process file known as ErrorDnsTest belonging to Mirar ErrorDnsTest developed by Mirar software company. Incidentally, service.exe is also a file component for Windows Operating System developed by Microsoft Corporation. If it comes as a component for a Windows file, then it is located in C:\Windows\System32 by default. However, if it comes through third-party software installation then it gets stored in C:\Program files.
