What is NIS.exe?
NIS.exe is a legitimate file. It is also known as Norton Internet Security and belongs to Symantec Security Technologies. It is commonly stored in C:\Program files. The malware programmers or cyber criminals write malicious programs and name it as NIS.exe and spread infection via internet to damage the software and hardware.

How to find if the system is affected by nis.exe malware?
When the system performance is very low or internet connection fluctuation is very high or if you find getting annoying popup ads then you can be sure that your system is affected with NIS.exe malware. To confirm that go to the task manager by pressing the combination of the keys ctrl+alt+del and go to the process and right click on the nis.exe and open the location, if the location is C:\program files, then the system is safe and secure. If the process is located somewhere else, then the system is affected by nis.exe malware.
How to remove the nis.exe file from system using Comodo Antivirus?
