What is mpnotify.exe?
mpnotify.exe is a legitimate file also known as Windows NT Multiple Provider Notification Application, developed by Microsoft Corporation. It is used for running Windows NT Multiple Provider Notification Application to support certain device drivers. It is typically located in C:\WINDOWS\winsxs. Malware programmers write malicious programs and name it after mpnotify.exe with an intention to spread virus on the internet.
