What is mcupdate.exe?

mcupdate.exe is a legitimate file. This process is known as McAfee SecurityCenter Update Engine. It belongs to software McAfee SecurityCenter and was developed by McAfee. It is commonly stored in C:\Program files.  The malware programmers or cyber criminals write different types of malicious programs and name it as mcupdate.exe to damage the software and hardware.
