What is grep.exe?

Originally developed by unknown, grep.exe is a legitimate file process and also called as Silver Star Publishing. that is associated with Guide to Hacking Software Security 2002  It is located in C:\Program Files by default.

grep.exe virus is created when malware authors write virus files and name them after grep.exe with an aim to spread virus on the internet.
