What is defaultsettings.exe?
defaultsettings.exe is a legitimate executable file developed by Microsoft Corporation. This process is known as defaultsetup.exe and it belongs to Defaultsetup. It is commonly stored in C:\Program Files. Cyber criminals find a way out to mimic malicious programs by naming them as defaultsettings.exe and then using them to spread malware infection.
