What is audit.exe?
audit.exe is a legitimate file. This process is known as Audit. It belongs to Microsoft Windows Operating System and was developed by Microsoft Corporation. It is commonly stored in C:\Program Files. Malware programmers or cybercriminals write different types of malicious programs and name it as audit.exe to spread virus.
