What is aepool.exe?

Originally developed by Microsoft Corporation, aepool.exe is a legitimate file process. This process is known as Application Performance Explorer Pool Manager and it belongs to Application Performance Explorer Pool Manager. It is located in C:\Program Files by default.

aepool.exe virus is created when malware authors write virus files and name them after aepool.exe with an aim to spread virus on the internet.
