What is SMAgentX.exe?

Originally developed by Analog Device, Inc., SMAgentX.exe is a legitimate file process. This process is known as SoundMAX Service Extension Agent Component and it belongs to SoundMAX Service Extension Agent Component. It is located in C:\Program Files by default.
SMAgentX.exe virus is created when malware authors write virus files and name them after SMAgentX.exe with an aim to spread virus on the internet.
