What is Inetinfo.exe?
Inetinfo.exe is a component of popular web server Microsoft Internet Information Services (IIS) and it is called as IIS Admin Service Helper. This process is mainly used for debugging purpose. And it is commonly stored in C:\windows. So the malicious programmers write the malware programs and name it as intetinfo.exe to spread via internet to infect the system.

How to find if the system is affected by inetinfo.exe malware
If you find the system performance to be very low or if there are more number of instances running, go to the task manger by pressing the ctrl+ALT+DEL and then go to the process tab and check to see how many number of instances running in the system, if it is more than 2 or 3, proceed to check the location of the processes, right click on the process and open the location if the location is C:\windows then your system id safe and secure, if the location is irrelevant then the system is affected by virus.
