How to Remove “Find.exe”

What is Find.exe?

Find.exe is a legitimate file for Windows operating system and belong to Microsoft Corporation. It is not a Windows core file. Find.exe is used to give support to the other applications or programs that run in the Windows OS. It is generally stored in C:\windows\system32. When the file is missing or damaged we get an error stating “find.exe is not found”. So the hackers and internet criminals write the virus programs and name it as find.exe and spread via internet.

How to find if the system is affected by Find.exe malware

When the system performance is very slow and when the system hangs quiet often, it is better to check the task manager by pressing the combination of keys ctrl+ALT+Del then go to the process tab to see the find.exe process then right click on the process to check the location of the file, if the location of file is C:\windows\system32 then the system is safe and secure, if it is located elsewhere then the file is affected by virus.
