Originally developed by Hauppauge Computer Works, hcwu2dtd.sys is a legitimate file process and is also called as DVB-T USB2.0 adapter BDA driver that is associated with software Hauppage Nova-T USB2 DVB-T Adapter. It is located in C:\Program Files by default.
hcwu2dtd.sys virus is created when malware authors write virus files and name them after hcwu2dtd.sys with an aim to spread virus on the internet.
