What is SWREG.EXE?
SWREG.EXE is a legitimate file. This process is known as Freeware Implementation of REG.EXE. It belongs to SteelWerX Registry Editor and was developed by SteelWerX. It is commonly stored in C:\Windows\System32.
Malware programmers or cybercriminals write different types of malicious programs and name them as SWREG.EXE to spread virus.
