What is outlook.exe?

outlook.exe is a legitimate file component developed by Microsoft Corporation for Microsoft Outlook setup. It is typically located in C:\Program File.

Malware writers create files with malicious codes and name them after outlook.exe with an aim to to spread virus on the internet.
